This was the best day for me in the last 10 months. Even though it was drizzling in the morning I had to get the hell out and glad I did, pushing away the ghost with it's scraping ball and chains. Luzifer's chariot had an omen for me, there was a surprise waiting for me.

Anyway on my way there on the freeway I came across a school bus filled with kids, they had seen me coming and several windows were down with tiny hands poking and waving. I thought to myself after passing the bus to slow down and give these kids a small acceleration. I slowed back down beside the bus but I suppose the bus driver scolded the kids to close the limo tinted windows. I downshifted did an acceleration, I couldn't see them but I'm sure they loved it and they'll remember for a long time.

I thought I would miss out on a spot but I was the first Lambo there (other than the dealer's cars)! It was an Arancio festival! To my surprise there was a borealis Temerario so I parked beside it to take a few comparison shots. It looks better in person than in pictures but I know why it seems off, the Huracan’s design purposefully have hips that were inspired from women's hips. The Tem is shaped like a missile. and the front end doesn’t toe inward enough. The interior however other than the dash is breathtaking beautiful, the orange leather screams wow!

The I went to check out the borealis Sterrato, I fell in love with with it, I've never such a beautiful car. I spent an hour just looking at it and I would go back to admire it. I seriously think it looks better than a base or Aventador S. Too bad it cost more than an Aventador I would buy this instead.

I'll post more cars later... When the event was nearly over I started the car to let it warm up and people rushed at the barrier on the side road to see and hear the car leave. I've learned from many videos to always check for police on the map and sure enough there was one 3-4 block away, it gave me just enough room for the crowd to experience a thunderclap race exhaust shifting 1, 2 , 3 then downshifting back to 2. Getting on the freeway it U-turned where I came from and saw the crowd still there so I let the engine scream all the way into the distance, it was beautiful. :)

On my my long way back home following an ultra fast suv(He was the "bait" up front), other small cars were trying to keep up and guys with their hands out the window pumping in joy.

Very cool, that mileage suits you! What a sea of orange. That's the first Sterrato I've seen with a wing. The wheels on that Revuelto look exactly like mine, Lambo just recycles designs I guess??

Looks like they offer that wheel on other models like you say. There weren't many visitor Lambo, when they showed up it seemed they stayed half an hour and left.

Here's a Perf for you.

Yes they do. What do you think of the red center locks with the orange calipers? Quite an interesting mix, first time I've seen that combo.

Also, did you steal the lunch money of the guy in the green sweater in the second pic? He's really giving you the stink eye...

I just saw the stink eye! I haven't looked at all my pictures yet. It turned out with the wind was pretty damn cold, good thing I decided to wear pants and bring my orange/black jacket. If I had known I would of brought a winter hat. I think wearing my jacket scared off some people. Maybe the guy was jealous or dislikes people wearing some apparel? When I showed up early I went shopping a bit and when I came back a woman greeted me as soon as I got of the car, she said she was aspiring to buy a Lambo one day, she said she was in real estates and owed a side business. I don't understand that though if you are in real estate don't these people make a ton of easy money?

If I find a kit that looks like sterrato fender flares and other bits I would be tempted to modify mine. I liked the wing even though usually I don't like that style. I also loved the wheels. It also had a Novitec exhaust and possibly other novitec enhancements.

Nice pics! All of that orange is amazing. The Sterrato with the gloss carbon flares is so amazing.

I thought Sterrato were way higher off the ground but I guess that's the way they are, in person it looked like an LP-610 with some body kit and winter tires.

Up close Sterrato for everyone! :)

So how much did that orange painting set you back?? Haha.

I think that Sterrato looks great aside from the wing. It looks really out of place to me.

I found his art cool and some of them interesting but I didn't buy one or think to ask the price, he didn't have an orange H.

There was an apparel booth, the guy said he had all sizes so I got excited because it never fits and sure enough I was once again disappointed, I tried on a 2xxl and 3xxxl and discovered they were chinese sizes. You know a 2xxl is actually a large. I bought a hat to wear on rare occasion. It sad most of Lambo's shirts or jacket have green in them. Nothing in orange or just plain black.

The sterrato must of been a customer's car for a while with novitec stuff, the extra wing and winter tires. With the winter tires it must of been driven in winter and if so guaranteed there's a little bit of salt corrosion and got everything dirty. If it snowed on it then then the VVT sensors are probably seized up if they ever need to be replaced.

I didn't answer your question about the color combo. I think there's too many colors especially because of the Italian stripes. First thing I would do is remove or cover the stripes, next the centerlocks would have to either be in orange or black. In orange it would match the calipers and side markers(lights).

I would love to match my center locking nuts to my calipers with the same orange. Unfortunately, Lamborghini doesn't offer that shade of orange. They sell quite a few colors (gold, red, blue, red, silver, dark orange etc.) but no lighter orange.

I spoke to an anodizer and he doesn't have any colors that are quite the right shade of orange. Maybe it would still look ok if it was close enough. I know the red center locks are a different shade than the red brake caliper shade Lambo uses, but lots of people still rock that red on red combo.

I've never seen anyone do the orange on orange, so I would try it if I could get a match. As an orange aficionado, I'm sure you'd approve haha.

Did you talk with someone who does powder coat? I think they have lots of shades to choose from. Better yet drive up to a place that does this he'll tell you right away.

Looking at my local powder coat shop they seem to have lots of selection, I'd like to have my x-brace painted in orange.

The locking nuts are anodized from the factory because it's a much stronger finish. A significant amount of torque (450 ft lbs+) must be applied to the center lock nuts to remove/tighten them and powder coating is not durable enough it would get chipped very easily and look terrible after even one wheel removal. I researched this and that's what I discovered.

Powder coating obviously has way more colors so you're right there probably is a better match, unfortunately it's not a suitable finish for this high impact surface.
