I mean according to that fake Rolex video that was shared earlier, those Chinese factories appear to make a pretty good product. Replica advocates claim they're 99% as good as genuine Rolex, so I'm sure they can handle a far less expensive Lamborghini watch hahaOf course it is made in china. The whole watch is made there.
But at least the Italian checked it first so your wrist is most likely safe![]()

I expected as much everything is made in China (almost). The businesses dictate the quality of their products, China respects the quality of the contract. But then the blueprints are copied and fakes are made.
I found it funny that they labeled made in China, you never see that on invoices.
I showed your post to a friend who works at a local watchmaker and he was surprised and complimented your DIY skills. He said he has never seen people drill their bracelets. Most people use half links or just accept their fate![]()

That is a pretty slick sweater. I do like how understated it is.
I'm not sure what I think about you knowing me so well hahaha
I suppose Sakura is right, this is a Lambo forum, so it is definitely OK, but my personal rule still is, when posting a watch-by-steering-wheel or watch-by-car pic, the watch should ALWAYS be more valuable than the car, otherwise it's just tacky.

@REKIII You might think it's tacky if the watch is not more expensive than the car but there's an exception to this rules, wearing a Lamborghini watch in a Lamborghini car?
Here's some cheesiness!![]()
Hey c'mon man, that was an Omega...not an Omega fan either I take it?Thanks for posting. Rolex isn't going to win me over though. I love my Tonino's
I must admit I like that one. the proportions of the dials and style looks right.I know there's not a lot of Rolex love on here. But I'm a big fan of the Le Mans Daytona. But I'm not a big fan of the current prices of them. Beautiful watch though. Love the throwback subdials of the Paul Newman era.
OK....so that might be OK.....and besides, I didn't make the rule, I just agree with it.@REKIII You might think it's tacky if the watch is not more expensive than the car but there's an exception to this rule, wearing a Lamborghini watch in a Lamborghini car?![]()
I'm a Rolex fan. I'm very unrefined and pretty disgusting as a person, so that probably makes sense. A Daytona is a dream watch someday.I know there's not a lot of Rolex love on here. But I'm a big fan of the Le Mans Daytona. But I'm not a big fan of the current prices of them. Beautiful watch though. Love the throwback subdials of the Paul Newman era.

Hahaha are you suggesting I should get a replica Le Mans Daytona?? I wonder how good the quality of these fakes are up close when compared in hand next to gen. Man I don't think I could pull it off even driving a Lambo. That particular watch was only made for a one year run as a limited edition to celebrate 100 years of le mans, hence sky high secondary market prices. It was 'only' $50K brand new from Rolex. If you could readily buy one for 50 I would already own it. I think we talked about the max we'd spend on a watch earlier in the thread, 50 would be tops for me. Beautiful piece though. That's a grail watch for me. There's a yellow gold version too but I prefer the white one. With the copycat video I posted the other day on Rolex I was curious and it turns out it has already been copied in various color combos($628). I bet overall they generate more revenue with the fakes.
Imagine if these guys could build fake Lambos at 1/10 the price!![]()
