Always use maximum diligence when buying an exotic. This the reason why I dug so deep on the Aventador to avoid a story like this. I did detective work on the car, unethical dealer including a background check on every salesman in the office, the scamming owner and crook body shop. I even did detective work how the owner obtained a loan by calling his financial institution and more things I checked out.
