This was a great interview, a lot of insight in the high end car world including Lambos, Ferraris etc and stories of people who buy them.

An interesting point is the deadline for the market to produce only electric cars, in the UK it is 2030 which I didn't know because in North America it is 2035. For the last 2 years I didn't believe it because the infrastructure isn't there to charge all those vehicles and it is impossible to do so in 10 years. One example our territory is so vast that it's physically impossible to put charging stations in the middle of a forest.

Heck this year Costo wanted to put 24 gas pumps in the area. 24 pumps for only 10 years, they knew the EV jig is fake.

I think it is a scam and a lot of people fell for it.

Schools brainwashing new gen = lots of brainwashed youngsters.

Making policies that these youngsters like = lots of voters = winning election.

Car companies have no choice but to meet these policies = lots of electric cars.

The education system is at fault as most are controlled by the gov using subsidies.

I agree we were brainwashed. An example the only guidance we had in high school was, get a job, get a job and what college classes are you going to attend for your employment. I wish they told us that being an employee is not the only path in life. I wish they would of said you could start your own business or be an entrepreneur. Just those words would of turned my life around a lot sooner and I wouldn't of been poor for decades working like a slave for unscrupulous employers.

I hear you.

Schools are designed to prepare students to become workers for companies. It is common for representatives from various companies to visit schools for head hunting. Fortunately, my parents always encouraged me to become an entrepreneur. Unfortunately, I had no clue where to begin. I was not academically stupid, as I was always top of my class, but I was absolutely clueless about business. I had no idea how to invest or start a company, much less sell something.

While pursuing my degree, I worked for several companies to develop my skills. The US companies helped me hone my engineering skills, while the Japanese company sharpened my business insight. Although I am grateful for the opportunity, it was not a pleasant experience dealing with constant company drama. It does not matter whether the company is American or Japanese, the issues are often the same. It seems the less capable individuals often end up in management, while the truly skilled workers remain at the bottom, working tirelessly for monthly wages and living paycheck to paycheck, despite having excellent technical expertise.
