By the way do you remember your tire sidewall bulge, I just noticed one on my front tire so I ordered a new front set to be on the safe side and asked the proprietor of the tire biz what he thought about it, he said I could of driven like that for a very long time and said many drive all the tire's lifespan. It would only cause problems if you hit a pothole in the very same spot.I kept both as spare because sometime these sizes are unavailable for 6 months or more. I'm going to order rear ones too as spares for next year, a supplier ordered too many and are giving a $100 discount on each.

Gear oil you mean transmission/gearbox oil? If so it rarely needs to be replaced.

I totally agree you don't need to replace it....
unless it starts to bother your sleep. I got it replaced early 2 years ago since a broken transmission appeared in my dream back then. Maybe I got a shock after seeing an AV trans lying on the floor when touring the dealer service pit LOL.

Mine was a bit worse than yours and I got it replaced rather quickly. I think tires are the only wear item I never take chances with, especially on a car like this. The thing about a bulge is, it might not get worse or it might. There is always a risk it could burst. If people can win the lottery or land on a single roulette number, there is always a chance that a pothole or something else hits that exact weak spot.

Let's say that
20 inches =~ 50.8 cm.
Circumference of the tire = pi x 50.8 cm =~ 159.5 cm
Chances = 3 / 159.5 cm = 0.0188 or 1.88%.

So with a 20 inches tire and a sidewall bulge of about 3 cm, the chances that a pothole can hit the same pot is around 1.88%.

But in reality, only 25% of the sidewall is exposed to potholes, which is outer 25% of the arc, which means that the exposed section is about 40 cm (25% x 159.5 cm). That certainly increases the chance to 7.5% calculated from 3 cm / 40 cm.

In summary, mathematically, the chance of potholes hitting the same spot is 1.88% (1 in 53 pothole hits). But on real life application, the chance of potholes hitting the same sidewall spot is 7.5% (1 in 13 pothole hits). Pretty high chances.

But not all roads have potholes, which means we have to go through full chain of probabilities. For country like Canada with average 1-2 pothole every 10 km, the chance is still very high which is 1.875% chance every 10 km or 1 in 53 pothole hits. You roll the dice every 10 km. It's scary chances.

I decided to take a weekend day for a day trip as I've been feeling like crap for over 2 1/2 months. I've been working on the garage every weekend since to keep busy and fix it. I was in the garage about to continue on rebar and concrete but decided to go out of town to go see a car show in a small village because it would take my mind off things and driving season is nearing the end.

I put a fresh set of clothes and took off, when I got to the village I spotted a white H in a parking lot and thought what a rare occurence to have a lambo here let alone 2 at the same time! I thought it was it the previous owner of my car but no it was someone else, ge had gold GC (Gucci?) stamped glasses that seemed a bit strange, he and his girlfriend exchanged a few words and off he went, his licence plate told me it was a lease or a rental.

I could of displayed the car but parked on the outskirts. Out of the show browsing the merchants, at a distance I watched 2 kids spend at least 15 minutes taking pictures of the Lambo.

It felt good to be out of town for a drive, it lifted my morale a little bit.

I don't know what happened this year but exotics are so rare! For the last 3 years I used to see at least 20 different Huracans many other exotics. This year very few. Were they tourists or money is scarce and their cars are gone from the area?

The car must be on air suspension the tires are almost touching the fenders.

As I was taking pictures of this car one evening a teenager car spotter that I've seen many times asked if he could do a photo shoot of my car. I'll think about it as I do not have time during the day or weekends days as I have a lot of work to do on my garage before it snows.

Beautiful Nice, beautiful people, beautiful cars. Thanks so much for sharing!

The Lambo looks hot! I think I'll know what to put on my car for next parade.

After another hard day working on the garage. I had just a little more than an hour left of sunlight before it got dark so I hurried just in time to catch the sunset, I had a feeling the sky was going to cooperate. I wanted to listen to music but there were too many people flocking around the car I felt like a specimen at the zoo so I got out. I think these are the best shots I've ever taken. This evening it was two teenage girls on a scooter who asked, "Mister can I take pictures?" Sure no problem. 10 minutes later another group of 10-12 teenage girls asked to take pictures too. The one who asked was so shy and she said it was the nicest color... Funny they were so polite to ask.

It seems those who take pictures only take one or two, I hope they turn out good for them. When I take pictures it's in the hundreds of takes to get the best ones out of the bunch.

Very nice shots indeed! Sunset shots are pretty hard to take but you did it. What camera did you use?
