An internet forum is a place for discussion, comments, opinions, and shared enjoyment. However, written comments are not the same as face-to-face conversation. In real life, we can hear tone of voice, see facial expressions, and understand body language. Online, we only see words, so it is easy to misunderstand the intention behind a comment.

For this reason, if a comment seems rude, harsh, or different from your opinion, please ask for clarification first before reacting strongly. A simple question such as "Did you mean it this way?" is much better than assuming bad intention.

Please also refrain from using profanity, personal attacks, insults, or aggressive language. This forum is meant to be an enjoyable place for sharing, learning, and friendly gathering.

When posting photos, stories, opinions, or experiences, please understand that other members may respond with different kinds of comments. Some comments may be compliments, some may be suggestions, and some may simply be personal opinions. Posting in a public forum is like bringing a car to a casual gathering: some people may admire it, some may ask questions, and some may notice small details. Not every comment is an attack.

At the same time, members who comment should do so with kindness and respect. If you would not say it politely to someone standing in front of you, please do not write it that way online.

Likewise, members who receive comments should avoid being overly sensitive or defensive. A gentleman or lady does not need to win every small disagreement. Sometimes the best response is to stay calm, ask politely, or simply move on.

Please remember:
  • You are an adult, and no longer a child.
  • Criticize ideas, not people.
  • Ask before assuming.
  • Use polite language, even when disagreeing.
  • Do not turn small comments into personal fights.
  • Give others the benefit of the doubt.
  • Keep the forum enjoyable for everyone.
We are all here because we share common interests. Please post, comment, and respond in a way that reflects good manners, maturity, and respect for the community.
