I'm guessing most of us don't use these Lambos daily. If so, what's your DD? I recently went from an Audi B9 S4 with maybe 650hp to all four on e85 to a BMW G80 M3 that I'm absolutely in love with. This car is probably the best daily driver I can imagine. With just a handful of mods (flex tune, intake, light exhaust mods) this thing puts down about 720hp to the wheels....silly fast, luxurious and a blast to drive! Show off your DD!

I don't have an "official" daily anymore I don't need it, I use my work van in the winter for work and everything else. In the summer when it's not raining I use the Corvette or the Lambo to do errands, going for groceries, buying tools or whatever small stuff I need to buy. Life is short I make full use out of these sports cars. Even visiting my mother up north with the cat. I plan to travel in the Lambo this summer, it's a 5 hour drive through forests and lakes.

I won't have a choice to buy a pre-owned SUV if I start dating, probably only going to use it when it rains or snow. That's only if women are not toxic, or who have hit the wall still looking for Chad or gold diggers as all those youtube videos make them out to be.

Love it - all of it. Agree 100% about life being too short. Now that I am in my mid 50s, I realize it more than ever. Does anybody really give a damn how much money is in the bank when the end is near? I certainly wont. What i do know is that cars (among many other things) have made me smile for decades, and I’m gonna own/drive what I want while i can enjoy them (and while I can afford them).
Now I just need to be able to chg my mindset to be able to drive the car(s) and not worry about the weather being perfect or the car being spotless, etc…i hope to get there someday soon cuz I’m not too fond of washing cars like i used to be

Is your cybertruck the silly fast model? Or are
they all silly fast? I dont know much about them.
It is the silly fast model. 3 Motor Cyberbeast. The 2 motor gets around pretty good too.
It is fun, very capable and does all the truck stuff I need (4'x6' bed). The FSD is a love hate thing, it does not work well on rural roads by me. I really dislike the constant hate it gets. Tiring really.

The Vette resides in the driveway in the summer so I avoid driving when it rains or the roads wet because of the black paint, it gets dirty right away and I can't put the covers back on because the dirt will scratch the paint. I don't mind getting the Huracan a little dirty because it doesn't show as much with the orange paint but it's a lot more work to clean that car and I have to do all sorts of things to hide it from view.

On a serious note, you should drive whatever you like and just try to ignore the negativity. Yeah, easier said than done. I think that car gets more hate because the brand is tied to politics.

I know the feeling of getting constant hate, after driving a 911 for a couple of years. People here seem to hate the brand, maybe because of the kind of drivers they associate with it. I was stopped by the police twice for no clear reason, had trucks block the road so I could not pass, got tailgated, and when I test drove a new 911, someone in the next lane even tried to ram the car off the bridge. It was honestly crazy.

I was thinking to replace my minivan with new cayenne, but I'm not sure if it is a good idea. I'd like to stay under the radar when I work because 580 attracts too much attention.

Here's my Toyota Alphard Hybrid 2.5L, putting out around 250 hp. It drives like a boat, but it can haul a horse or even a small elephant. Extremely safe too, with 360 degree sensors and even lane change assist.

My work truck/daily is a ford superduty.
Just a Juggernaut of a beast. With diesel fuel prices continuing to rise, fueling up is depressing.

I drove the 991.1 back then. It was a fun touring car. It wasn’t the wide body so parking was very easy especially in tight spaces. But the “symphozer”, where they put a pipe into the rear seat from the engine to channel exhaust / engine sound, was horrible because it was droning like a broken trumpet. I had to stuff a chunk of foam into the pipe to shut it up. Everything else though, was great with nice suspension. It was pretty reliable too and maintenance was really affordable.

If I end up with cayenne I am most likely going to get the hybrid model. And while at it, I should probably get a good life insurance too :)

992 is very nice and I’m sure she will love it. The Ford and Macan look awesome.

I love black cars but vowed long ago after owning a black 87 Vette that I would never own black again....its not a good match for a guy who doesnt wanna drive his "baby" when its dirty LOL

we almost bought a model Y Performance for the Mrs a couple yrs ago after getting blown away by the performance of it on an overnight test drive. That sucker is fast as hay. We wound up passing on it as they changed the price on us the day we returned it to the Tesla place in the mall. They reduced the discount or elminated it or something and it was gonna cost an extra $3K or so as a result. I was so mad about it that we never looked back and got her a Jeep Wrangler hard top instead, which turned out to be the best decision for us anyway. She and I both love that Jeep (well except for the wacky corrosion problems that they all have (completely ridiculous there!)

i'm scared to ask how much it costs these days to fillup that big, beautiful truck of yours? what kinda MPG do you get? I know it may be nuts to ask that question LOL. I've had people ask me that in my Gallardos (dont think its happened yet in the Huracan as I havent owned it that long)...and I always chuckled to myself like "thats the question that comes to mind when you see this thing"

I don't think you can get one from an official Toyota dealer in the US, as the model is intended for the Asian market only. However, there are third party dealers that import them into the US.

The shark style front grille is found on the V2 and V3, with V3 being the current version. The V1 does not have the shark grille.

never heard of the model...makes sense. do you have the Sienna minivan there? I believe most folks say that's the best minivan here

I think Toyota put the Alphard as a luxury minivan for the Asian market, while the Sienna is aimed at the US as a more practical option. There is no Sienna here. I am not sure why they take this approach. They even offer the Lexus LM in China, which is a more luxurious version of Alphard. It seems Toyota has now decided to introduce the LM to other markets, including Japan too, possibly because China is going broke. Japan, on the other hand, has been going broke for years already :)

My guess is a 'luxury minivan' would not sell well here (US) as everyone is so enamored by giant luxury SUV's.
