You might have thought I'm named after a stupid Japanese tree, but you know the time when Ralph Macchio was down in the mat after almost brutally KOed by Dragon Kai while Miyagi sensei stood on the other side doing nothing but grinning and twiddling his thumb? Then Ralph got up and whopped a crane kick at a split moment to the face of over-confident Dragon Kai? When his foot was high above at maximum altitude, milliseconds before impact, he unleashes his scream "Sakura"!

It may not appear in the official cinematic release, but I am statistically confident it occurred at least once in my subconscious extended cut.

REKIII are my initials. I've used this screenname since the late 90's when the internet came out. Yes I'm old as fvck.

My username from the mythical creature. Always been a rebel and outsider in most things. My mother said to me as a kid and teenager "I was my own gang".

I was a little troublemaker, never conforming entirely. I even outmaneuvered high school curriculum set by the government by making a deal with the principal. I think no one else ever did that in history, I still earned my diploma.

As an adult same thing, one of the last jobs I had, I was elected to be shop steward, the young foreman hated me because he couldn't steam roll the guys or me, he tried so hard to screw me over many times. It never worked and every time he tried it came back to bite him 3 fold. It was amusing, he found out it was pretty hard to cheat the devil!

It was a great movie. Too bad nowadays there's no innovation or original ideas.

Well…. I guess it’s time to come out of the closet. In the early 00s me and a photo/film friend got hired by theSwedish by then Ferrari dealership to cover events for them. I discovered the Italian name for the prancing horse - Il cavalino rampante- and thought Rampante was a cool username that always was free to take so that became a standard since. It it does not stop there… Reason I use it is that it means something different to me than a prancing horse. I can resonate with the Rampante saying in that I’ve had a fair bit of downturns and problems and career hiccups in my life, but I always come out stronger and end up on the winning side.

I can ask that up-to-no-good admin to change your username for you if you like. You can pick any names that you think the best represent your Internet presence!

Personally I think 6102Perf is fine so people can relate Performante and your bank's pin number
