I've had a few comments and a few wild events in the last couple weeks.

This afternoon out for a short ride, at the very end of driving season, I saw a parked car on the shoulder wondering why was he parked in the dirt side of the paved road. As I neared I saw his hand out waving to launch it while he had his phone out with the other! I think he saw the car at the red light in the opposite direction he cut through parking lots to wait for me. Further ahead a mailman was signaling me to rev it...

My GF and I were heading home one afternoon, there was a strip club ahead when I saw 3 women hanging outside, as we got near the trio looking our way one of them bent over booty protruding and started twerking! I can tell you one thing they never do that when you drive a regular car.

Last week an elderly couple were looking at the parked car and they asked what is was and the woman asked if I drove it in the snow? I chuckled and replied, " it's AWD but no."

Finally when we were taking October rust pictures another elderly couple strolling, stopped and asked what it was, after telling them it was a Lamborghini his face didn't register, they had no idea what the brand was. He then asked if it was an electric car, I said no, still no emotion on his face. He then asked how many cylinders so I replied 10 cylinders and that's when his face lit up in bewilderment as if saying 10, why 10?? Then he nodded, "it must be fast." We bid or farewell and off they went. :)

That's a very beautiful photo, thanks for sharing!

That's a perfect way to wrap up Autumn before the snow season begins.

It seems your town has many lovely natural spots with beautiful trees!

Funniest comment about my car comes from my spy cam. The dude that just got out from the car yelled "oh my, these doors go up too!" I'm glad I wasn't around to disappoint him :ROFLMAO:

I get all kinds of comments. Mostly positive. One of my recent favorites was when a bunch of kids were waiting by the car when I came out from a quick run inside the liquor store. There were 5 of them and I let them all sit in it and take pics and I revved it for them. They were all so grateful and thanked me and one kid yelled "you're a legend" as they ran off. That was pretty cool.

About 2 months ago I decided to buy an OEM car cover because the leasee decided not to return it to the dealer. He lied to me when I asked him if he still had it, saying he had bought it from amazon. It was not true I have a picture of it in his driveway.

Anyway I ordered one on ebay, it never arrived, with an excuse someone at her dealership had stolen it and stated she didn't know how to refund. I filed a claim and got refunded.

I found another one that's a better match with yellowish/orange stitching but what a surprise when I opened the duffle bag! What the hell, someone forgot their flip flops in there!

I was curious and looked them up, over $500 for flip flops! I should clean them and resell them on ebay, it would pay a good chunk of the cover!

As we got out of the car in an underground parking lot a kid around 10 years old came up with his mom, stopped and nonchalantly asked if he could sit in it. For the first time I said sure and showed him not to step on the sill.

His mom took some pictures and my gf told the boy to grab onto the steering like he was driving while she took more pictures. His mother said he had an orange Huracan diecast! He chose the best color, a true enthusiast!

He got out carefully, now a little shy, I reached behind the back seat and handed him a hot wheels Huracan. They were happy, as we departed I told the boy to take as many pictures as he wanted. It made my day too.

I'm sure the boy would remember the experience his whole life! The orange hot wheels are pretty cool. I remember you keep a stock of this in your car.

Luzifer must be balling 😂. I looked into the hot wheels and they are about $20 each for the cheapest I can find. I remembered that as well and thought it was a cool idea.

Before I bought the real H I went a little overboard getting my hands on every lambo diecast in the surrounding cities. The big diecasts only one of each but hot wheels I'd buy them all at $1.50 each, and the better ones like the green ones below were $10 each. I've stopped collecting since last year except for orange H.

I did get a half dozen HW orange Sterrato a couple weeks ago, so you should be able to find them in your area at walmart, dollar stores, pharmacies, small retail stores etc. If you look every other week they come up with a new Lambo HW.

This afternoon with a snowflake lit in the cluster gauge, the the final week before storing the sports cars for winter, we went to see some waterfalls, there was a group of people in the park dressed in medieval clothing practising melees.

I parked, a medieval dressed guy walking back to his car said, "nice machine you have, a matching hat and jacket, a walking commercial!"

Today a city worker worker and I were outside and he says to me, "Did you change Corvette color?" A couple years ago he saw me with my black C7 and this morning he said, "I saw an orange Corvette and saw you with sunglasses on and a woman."

I grinned but didn't say anything so he repeated his statement again so I answered, "you mean the same car that's in my work truck", while pointing to the Huracan diecast on my dash.

"An orange Corvette..."

I grinned some more but didn't correct him thinking maybe he mistook me and this C8 I've seen around too. I was debating to explain to him or not but I let it slide. I don't know if I should tell him next time I see him what it actually is or let him think it's a Corvette. :p

Some time ago the guy at the parts store, a very nice guy, he obviously found out about the H when I enquired about diff oil and other stuff. Anyway a couple weeks ago he asked if he could show his son the car so this evening I set a meet. While waiting for them in a parking lot for them to show up an SUV stopped, a little kid came to my window asking if he could take a picture. The kid posed, raised both hands displaying figurines while his mom took a picture.

After a bit they finally arrived, he pretended to his 9 year old son they were going for some errands but to his surprise he was greeted with an orange Lambo. ;) The boy was very shy almost speechless. His father's face had a huge smile from ear to ear he was so excited to show him the car. As we were chatting I told the kid to get in quickly as a crowd was starting to form, a stranger was getting way too comfortable and too close to my liking, he looked like he was about to hop into the car.

The kid had a blast on the ride even though still shy at first, he was impressed with the acceleration, he was thrilled about the sounds and downshifts, his vision barely high enough to look out front.:D After a few accelerations he started to loosen up and started to talk about cars, paddle shifters, hand brakes and stuff. Once back on the lot I handed him pull back diecast, an orange super trofeo Huracan. He was quite surprised.

I told his father he was invited for a ride too, he was very hesitant at first not to impede, I told him not a problem I had reserved the evening for them. I had to persuade him he was shy too! He brought his son back home to his mom and I gave him a ride. He was amazed at the torque and acceleration, even though I do not floor it, always in a controlled manner. While cruising on the highway a guy pulled alongside he started to take pictures, a moment later in my side mirror I saw him not paying attention to the road wandering off into the rumble strips, for a second he was driving towards the ditch!

He thanked me profusely, it was my pleasure... They were very happy. (y)

Wow thanks for sharing the good story! That is a very nice gesture of you in giving them a ride. I wish more people are like you - some of dudes I know here are not very down to earth nor humble despite money in their pockets.

At a red light while I'm listening to music with only a sliver of an open window, a guy in a car who looked like an instigator with half of a front bumper missing and the rest of front end mangled from an accident, he shouts, "Hey... Hey... Hey where do you work?" I reply, "not saying." In response he says, " So you don't want me to make money." He mouthed off more unintelligible things and the light turned green.

I was glad to go.
