Now that you have opened the forum to public view we are now on page 4 on google search. It's a matter of time more members join once we start showing up on page 2 or 1.

I'm not sure how I feel about that. I liked that this was a private forum as it made me feel more inclined to share more. I think this should have been discussed with forum members before making the decision to go public like this.

Even if the site is listed on search results you still have to become a member to read threads or post in them. The Mechanic's Guild section is not visible in search results, you need 50 posts to see and access it. We have deleted many fake members and bots since inception 2 years ago. This place is still private without ads. Without big breasted hook up scam ads.

In my opinion It's unsustainable with only 4-6 people who post, we'd get bored pretty quickly and become a dead forum like some. If you notice many have joined just to take a peek but since there's not much activity they didn't come back. I had to remove the mention of this forum at the other place so no one else would ever know about this forum.

Ok, I wasn't aware they had to still join in order to view the content. I can understand the desire to want to build up the site. I just would hate to see it become full of bots and trolls like the other forum. This is a good community here there just isn't enough active members participating like you said.

It was made private in the past, then reopened after upgrades and stronger defenses. I think this forum is the most secured forum in the Internet. Bots and trolls do not last long here. We remove them regularly.

We are not chasing member count. What matters is quality and real interaction. Members are welcome to share their experiences, but there is no pressure.

This forum is free and non commercial. No ads, no sponsors. It is funded entirely by gold bars in my basement vault, like what a country do to back their economy

You had access as you posted in 2 threads, one was the cleaning alcantara steering and bumper scratch.

Also, congratulations on discovering the color display bug in the forum software. Like traffic lights, where green means proceed with care and red means stop, the bug reverses the meaning of the signals.
