HURACAN 580/610: Race Exhaust

I guess the only other option we haven't considered is whether your car has an aftermarket exhaust of some variety? It's definitely not the standard OEM exhaust. And we think it's the OEM race exhaust, but is there a possibility it's aftermarket? I'm not familiar enough with how aftermarket exhausts sound on the Huracan to comment for sure. But it does sound similar to how my race exhaust sounded. Can you see enough of the exhaust pipes through the rear bumper to tell whether it looks like a factory piece?

Like I said in the post above I have confirmed today its a factory race.

You guys are wondering how I did it? Wanna buy a ticket for the side show of the bearded lady racing in Corsa? I need funds to buy an Aventador.

I have the sport exhaust with the original titanium tips. Race exhaust is not road legal here. Some third-party shops can install it, but many shops have been heavily scrutinized for bypassing inspections by removing non-compliant parts and reinstalling them afterward. There have been reports of heavy fines and even shop closures.

I wouldn't say it's frowned upon. Being loud during the day is "generally" fine if you don't let it out near people's houses. What I do find ironic is that you’ll have bosozoku bikes tearing around at midnight or early morning with insanely loud exhausts (I think no muffler), inside housing community, basically just to make everyone’s life miserable, and yet other setups seem to get all the attention.

I'll drop the suspense, I did some investigation work yesterday afternoon looking at the only picture I had of the plaque. It was difficult to figure out where it was on the muffler from online pictures because the way it was photographed, however there was a clue, beside the plaque were 2 dimples and a weld seam on the muffler half so I went on ebay to look at regular exhausts to locate those dimples and part number stamp. Then I searched for a video where they remove the muffler, I noticed something maybe I could reach the spot without taking everything apart.

I took only took a few things out, used my mini cam and looked around.

Great detective work! That's race exhaust for sure. Feels good to finally have clarity. Congrats you found a real gem! It's a rare part these days.

I don’t think there’s any issue posting those photo of maker's plaque. Without the plate number next to it, no one can link it to anything
