Let's just say that I wore a Bridgestone hat to a Lamborghini Pirelli event like 5 years ago :)

I still use Pirelli's on my 580 because they were the standard tire, but may ask for Bridgestone for my next replacement.

The previous owner put Pirellis and was proud to tell me he paid extra to have the"L" for Lambo stamp on them. I found that a little ridiculous. Anyway when I got a bulge in front from a pothole I put two new michelins in front. They have more grip than the Pirellis. When the rears wear out I'll put Michelins.

Yeah the L mark is basically the same tires. The L mark is probably only become useful during insurance claims. The insurance company use any reason to reject claims. All for bureaucracy.

I used to have Michelin for all my P cars. They grip very well and last very long. I think they ride a bit hard but that's probably the trade off for more grip.
