I LOVE carbon fiber. I see it as not only highly engineered and technical, but a beautiful accent if done correctly.
Recently I found factory engine surround components, from a 2013 so all the plaques match my car.

Who has some other neat Carbon Fiber stuff?

Looks very nice indeed.

Carbon fibre looks good when there's not too much. Forged carbon looks like dirt so I think it's best if there's very little of it.

I agree on both things....there can be too much CF. And I dislike forged carbon in general. Forged carbon makes sense when it is used ot make very non-flat things, like shift paddles, but there is literally no point to it when making things like hoods or spoilers. I don't like the way it looks.

Here is another part that is totally dumb. Part on right is the aluminum version that comes on all Gallardos other than SL's. The left is the SL carbon version. Minimal weight savings AND you can't see it, but I found on Ebay for 'cheap' so.....

If it's cheap, yes I'd go for it! It'll give you satisfaction to look at it when you put the car up to do an oil change. (y)

Forged carbon is definitely an acquired taste. I didn't like it at all at first but it has grown on me over time. It looks good in the sun when the light catches it.

I like factory forged carbon, but not aftermarket forged carbon. The factory version usually has just the right amount of carbon texture and looks much better.

Aftermarket forged carbon often looks too busy, almost like something made by a kid.

Regular carbon fiber, not so much. For some reason, it reminds me of a woven straw basket from Southeast Asia. Same reason I don’t really like Balenciaga designed bags.

A first-world problem, but a nice one to have :)
