Where is the crank position sensor (Huracan)?

I noticed these exhausts have 4x O2 sensors and 2x exhaust gas temperature sensors in the same area.

I never heard that any car needs sensor replacement as a maintenance item. I don't have a solid answer if they need to be part of preventive maintenance. At the moment for me I would only change sensors and O2 sensors when they become faulty or notice the engine is not performing correctly.

I realized this car is not an ordinary car but a highly complex one compared to a regular car so maybe they are correct to replace them if you want peak performance?
If the O2 sensors are cheap and easy to replace maybe it's a good idea?

What I do now after a ride is to open the hood at home to let the engine cool off. I do not drive in the rain because I want the car to stay clean as much as possible and I noticed when I wash the car water gets a little bit on the engine and especially when I open the hood. I want the least amount of corrosion because it's a nightmare if bolts strip, components seize and break while trying to remove them.

From now on I will put towels on the engine when I wash the car.
I think Lambo2018 on the other forum had a extensive wash the Huracan thread..

Yes Albert @Lambo2018 put towels on the rear grills everytime he washed his car. I think he is registered in this board but hasn't been active since last year.

It's sad to see all these guys register never to be seen again. I wish they'd stick around and post. I remember lambo2018 talking about putting towels when washing his H, that's where I got his idea.

In the UK looks like many people leave their sports cars parked in the driveway and drive in the rain. Here's an example what happens, look at the rust and corrosion, both of his broke while removing them! You can see in the 2nd picture how fragile the crimp is holding both pieces together.

I got a lucky break, I received the VVT a week early. I swapped it in, ran the car over an hour doing errands and the car is back to normal. Just in time for Cars and Coffee tomorrow! I will return those cheap ones.

I will make a tutorial thread later.

Congrats! I think you just saved yourself $5000. My dealer would have charged that much for labor and still refused to make a copper tube extension. Too much effort for them unless it comes in a shiny box :)

You think I saved that much, wow! I know Lambo dealers are expensive but I don't even know how much their rate is. It all depends if they can pinpoint the problem quickly but still with parts markup it's nuts. Every time I had an electrical problem on any type of vehicle I knew if I brought it in to a dealer I had doubts they could even fix it without throwing unnecessary parts at it. Decades earlier I had brought in my 4Runner they charged me parts which didn't do anything and wanted me to pay for a bunch of parts for them test further.

The Corvette same thing, under warranty they wouldn't fix my slow crank or fix the infotainment that went haywire.

I just wish I had a shop manual like my old 4Runner, it had wiring diagrams and procedures to fix things.

Not sure if I should buy a spare VVT, odds are probably low this happens to the other ones but it gets you back on the road quickly.

I will return the crank sensor and cam sensors as they haven't been used and it's the same brand as the VVT.

If I were you I would replace the rest. If one had failed, the rest can fail as well as they reach near their end. You don’t want cel with dates :)
