The saga continues, I thought I had won my paypal case with the hat but now it was refused because ebay used a loophole I had to provide a tracking number but their policy states the seller has to provide a return label at his cost.

Ebay has alway been full of loopholes and it used their conflicting rules in their favor. So now I did a chargeback on my CC and received a temporary refund which is not guaranteed, it could take days or months! The CC has to get answers from the seller why he didn't provide a return label. I hope I win this time.

If the transaction amount is small, there is still a decent chance of getting your money back. But for higher value items (like > $1k), I would never rely on the credit card company again. I learned the hard way that they can be completely powerless when the seller and their merchant processor work together and conspire to protect themselves. They simply create or modify terms after the sale and use that to reject the chargeback.

I will never again prepay large amounts for overseas purchases. Especially from countries that are known for high levels of online fraud like India, Pakistan, Myanmar, Nigeria, China. Once the money is gone, it is almost impossible to recover.

How about Italy, is it safe? I just bought a watch directly from Tonino a day ago so that should be okay. ;)

Amazon for me is the safest. Ebay has always been a hit or miss. A CC payment through paypal is not a customer satisfaction guarantee.

I bought a small wallet from Tonino before so they should be safe :) I think reputations are important these days, but then all those good online reviews are not always true. In fact, most of them are fabricated.

Amazon is super tough on the seller and whatever buyer claims usually end up with returns or refunds. And for items that sell very well, good chance Amazon will take over with its own competing brands.

Very nice. Now you need Tonino's perfume. I've seen them a couple times locally but I didn't buy it as there is no demo to smell it.
I have actually had it - but that was probably some 10 years ago. It was ok, but also a bit blend

Just got these today. Original Gallardo GT3 Brochures. Probably not rare, but over 10 years old. Both from Reiter Engineering.

GT3's look so damn good.

Do you know if these body kits are reproduced? I don't think anyone has installed an aftermarket kit. All I see are those who put an LP bumper to a pre LP car.

Pretty cool. I thought that was an STO at first glance. Probably cause they were on my mind since I was just reading through Luzifer's STO thread...

They do make re=pro kits that look and fit pretty good. Insane expensive, and they come from overseas somewhere (poland maybe?) so shipping is nuts too.

Oh yeah I think it might be the same company that does other body parts that I saw on the other forum.

It's beautiful, however I'm not a buyer. No room for this art piece and $2400+ is a bit pricey and if he's actually in the US it will be over 3K. For that amount I would put soler performance throttle bodies and a gas pedal controller.

I've been wanting to do this project for over a year, a decorative/art "go bag". At previous car shows it's alway been a big hit with the crowd displaying my 1 : 12 model on the dash. I would stuff the model in a backpack wrapped in a towel. One day I found this awesome briefcase with foam inserts. Personally I think it would look cool if I could display the case however it might look over the top "douche bag" with the watches and spare key case (key is inert for now). Next problem I would need to modify the briefcase to remove the top lid because it won't fit on the dash.

My question is would it look too poser? I also bought some mini suit cases, keep in mind the cars are roped off about 3-4 feet in front so the model in the mini suitcase would not be very visible.

That is SUPER cool!! I think it would look neat if you put it on a stand in front of your car, or by the wheel (given that the cars are roped off. Something like this, but replace the tablet with an L shaped platform to set the open suitcase on.

Very cool idea. However I know someone will snatch it and run off into the crowd. I think I'll modify the hinges to be removable or able to fold back more.
