I'm halfway thru this process and have a couple of observations and a question or two...
The couple of videos I saw on this seemed to underestimate the de-pinning portion of removing the OEM springs. Man, that was kinda painful. See before/after pics. The pins/purple holder, etc took a beating so bad on the first one that I experimented on that I decided to scrap all 4 of them and replace with some Amazon versions (should've done that in the first place). Second, I had to remove the small intake snorkel (for lack of a better word) for the rear two shocks in order to get a tool on those top shock bolts (that wasnt mentioned in the couple videos I found on youtube). Those are the tips that I can offer at this point.
For my questions, did you guys align the car after lowering? I chose the H&R sport kit, which drops only .8" front and rear (not too much), and the stuff thats disturbed during install seems very minimal compared to other cars I've messed with.
Also, for those that have a 610-4 or equivalent, did you need to change/alter the ride level links (purchase adjustable "ghost" links)? I understand they were nec for newer cars but perhaps not for the older 610-4?
Hopefully somebody has done this silly mod like me and can chime in with some words of wisdom.
