I'm curious what is your comfort level in watch prices or the max you would spend? 5K, 10K, 20K, 30K, 100K etc?

I think my max would be 5K.
Really depends where i am at financially. I spent about 9k on my deep-sea dweller. That is about max for me right now.
Id really like to get into a Daytona. If I found one under 20k I might be able to figure out how to make it happen.....but probably shouldn't.
If I drastically increased my income (which is unlikely) I would easily spend much more on watches.

Then....I really wanted to just try this watch, it's a Breitling SuperAvenger...it is HUGE. So I got one in decent, wearable condition, but not a complete set (no box, no papers, but it did go through the eBay authenticator process) so much cheaper

Then I thought I'd share a couple fun watches. Both Lotus. The one on the left, I'm working through a band replacement as the original one is hard from age.

Since you have a blue/gray black watch, here's one from Tonino you might like.

That one is pretty tame by Tonino standards. I picked up a Tonino last year....not sure I ever posted a pic. Let me go grab one.

Beautiful! Thanks for showing it. Did people comment on it?

Hehe thanks!

The cute receptionist glanced at it for a second. I hope she didn't think I'm a cool racer because I was bringing in my minivan :)

She doesn't know you are like Bruce Wayne/Batman with the batmobile. Minivan by day Lambo by night.

I just bought another watch yesterday, I have been patiently waiting for about 5 years for one to fall at a reasonable price because it is very rare, I never seen one new and everytime a seller wanted too much for it. I don't think I'll wear it often, probably just once because it's black and yellow(I'm not a fan of yellow) but it compliments the Bulova Precisionist collection.

So I went to the next town for a business meeting. I wore a casual suit, so I wanted something classic that would stay under the radar. Here's the JLC Master Ultra Thin.

It was a tough meeting with people who are very thrifty and not very motivated. You know the kind of situation where you have to spend time with people you do not really like, but it has to be done. I guess it worked and broke a few barriers, even if it cost a bit of mental energy.

The car has been running nicely since the oil change and recall work. It was so smooth and quiet I almost fell asleep. Good thing all the sensors kept beeping and kept me awake.

I figured a change of scenery would work for my mental health. So going shopping at Tokyo today while wearing my old day date.

Unagi lunch:

And bacon with bull's eyeball:

No there's no bacon or eyeball. It's Japanese cherry with agar. :)

You scared me for a minute, eating an eyeball!

Cool watch, I like it. It's not my style but it looks good.

I can't wait for the snow to melt taking the cars out to have dinner on a Friday night after a hard week of work. Right now I don't even eat out with the snow and all.

Today was pretty warm, around 17 C, so I took the chance to go for a drive early on Sunday morning. Spring is on the way, so I bet the ice in Canada is melting now.

You always see those cheesy shots of someone showing off their ride in the background, in the watch forums. But this is mainly a Lambo forum, so maybe I can get away with it. Here’s my Aquaracer.

I also wore my new Gucci knit I bought yesterday. The material and stitching are pretty nice. But behold. It has big Gucci lettering on the front, yet it still felt under the radar since it’s the same dark blue and only slightly embossed. I doubt anyone could tell anyway since I walk around with my arms crossed like an Egyptian king :)

I've never been on a watch forum so I'm not familiar with guys with their car in the background but at the other place I saw many guys photographing their watch with the steering wheel. I know @REKIII is about to chime in on that subject.:p

You have more watches than I thought, pretty cool. You definitely need a white watch to match your car! By the way I think you have a stalker in the background, watch out!

The snow hasn't started to melt yet, Two weeks ago it was the coldest temperature of the year, people with frozen pipes that burst from ice and when it melts it floods their house. It should start to melt in one month or so. I should get the car in april and start working on the oil pump.

I have a couple more watches that I may show off when I do gardening this summer. I don't wear any watch when I wash the car. Yes, definitely need a white watch. I've been eyeing a white Omega Seamaster with white strap, but couldn't push myself to buy it for like $8k or so. I am uncertain about Omega because the dial looks pretty rough to my eye even though they are made rather meticulously. Something I can't explain.

I didn't realize I had a stalker at the back. I will confront him next time hopefully my saleslady don't flip out laughing when I do so :)

That is a pretty slick sweater. I do like how understated it is.

I'm not sure what I think about you knowing me so well hahaha
I suppose Sakura is right, this is a Lambo forum, so it is definitely OK, but my personal rule still is, when posting a watch-by-steering-wheel or watch-by-car pic, the watch should ALWAYS be more valuable than the car, otherwise it's just tacky.

I do not have any watch that costs more than the car, but the TAG is very valuable to me because it came from a once in a lifetime event. If I had to choose to pick this watch or the car when the world is ending, I would pick the watch. For sure.

Anyway, maybe these from @Luzifer 's mine would help :)
